You could call the new Audi Q5 an SUV. But if it doesn’t look like an ordinary SUV, that’s because it isn’t. Our designers chose not to follow convention, enabling them to produce something rather special: a beautifully streamlined vehicle that combines space and comfort with the driving dynamics of a coupé.
HDD navigation for stress-free motoring
With the optional hard drive based (HDD) navigation system, being lost becomes a thing of the past. Simply enter a destination using the Multi Media Interface (MMI) in the centre console, or just say where you want to go, using the advanced voice recognition system.
The HDD navigation system has a 40GB hard drive meaning that maps load incredibly fast and there’s an abundance of detail (including 3D buildings in cities and photo realistic 3D landmarks) when you zoom in. You can also specify modifications to the route such as avoiding or using motorways, toll roads and ferries. And you can recall favourite and recent destinations which are stored in your address book.
Versatile storage space
The Q5 has a range of features that make its loading space incredibly versatile.
The rear seats can be folded down simply by pulling the remote release handles. In addition, there is the option of a flat–folding front passenger seat that makes transporting extremely long objects much easier.
In addition, there is the option of an adjustable rear bench that enables the rear seats to move forward or back 100mm – allowing flexible cargo capacity and rear leg room when needed.
